MenoCircle ("we", "us") operates the website menocircle.com, the Dutch website menocircle.nl and the MenoCircle app. For any privacy question you can reach us at hello@menocircle.nl or through our contact page.
Company registration details, registered address and VAT number are published on this page as soon as the international entity details are finalised.
Account data: your email address and, if you provide it, your first name.
Health-related data you enter yourself: symptoms, sleep, mood, cycle and notes. This is special category data under the GDPR and we process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you create your account.
Purchase data: what you bought, when, and the payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited.
To provide the service you asked for: your account, your symptom timeline, your programmes and your purchases.
To send you the emails you signed up for. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.
To keep the service secure and to improve it, using aggregated and non-identifying statistics wherever possible.
To meet our legal obligations, such as retaining invoices for the statutory period.
Performance of a contract (your account and purchases), your consent (health data, marketing email, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interest (security and service improvement) and legal obligation (accounting).
We never sell your data. We share it only with processors that help us run the service: hosting, email delivery, payment processing and analytics. Each of them is bound by a data processing agreement and may only use your data on our instructions.
Where a processor is located outside the EEA, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We use functional cookies that are required for the site to work and, with your consent, analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 and advertising cookies from the Meta pixel. We use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising storage are denied by default and nothing is loaded until you consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer.
Account and health data: for as long as your account exists, and deleted within 30 days of your deletion request. Invoices: seven years, as required by law. Marketing consent records: until you unsubscribe, plus a short retention period for proof of consent.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@menocircle.nl and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfect, so we also limit what we collect in the first place.
When we change this policy we update the date below and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
